Our Business English course is specially designed for people wanting to improve their Business English in their specific professional field.

Our first course, for both international and domestic learners, is scheduled for November 15 – 26. One-week (15 hrs), two-week (30 hrs) and intensive options are available.

Classes will be held at our Business English venue in an authentic work-environment, taught in small groups (maximum 12 students) by our experienced staff, using communicative teaching methodology, richly media supported, using role plays and simulators and the latest course books.

We offer three different Business English courses, according to the student’s needs and demands.

Business English (Level 1): A course designed to give learners a sound basic understanding of English in a business context, equivalent to the Council of Europe Common European Framework A2 level.

Business English (Level 2): A course designed to enable learners to communicate in a familiar business situation effectively and accurately, equivalent to the Council of Europe Common European Framework B1 level.

Business English (Level 3): This course is designed for the learners who have reached a sound understanding of English in a business context, equivalent to the Council of Europe Common European Framework B2 level, and will enable them to write acceptable English without employer embarrassment.

For those coming from abroad, our special package includes airport transfers, daily school-hotel transfers, course material, a certificate of attendance and walking tour of Limassol and a SPECIAL ‘Let’s talk business’ EXCURSION: A trip to the picturesque wine growing village of Omodos, 42 km north-west of Limassol, renowned for its superb grapes and tasty wines. The trip will include a traditional lunch, a visit to a winery including a wine tasting, a visit of the Timios Stavros Monastery, a break at a traditional bakery and time for a stroll around the cobble-stoned streets of this charming historic village. To look at the business side of things you will be able to meet with local business owners who obtained EU funding to keep the tradition of this charming village alive.

For our domestic students, we are starting a special level 1 Business English course on October 13th. Classes will be held every Wednesday from 7:15 – 9:00 p.m.

A level 2 course starts on October 19th with classes being held every Tuesday from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

These courses last until the end of May 2011 and are designed to enable students to take the LCCI English for Business examination at the beginning of June. As a result, upon completion of the courses students will be able to respond not only to academic, but also to professional requirements. The English Study Centre is a qualified registered LCCI centre, providing constant support to our students, along with a well structured examination preparation.
